HarryDeKat built the Discipulus app as an Open Source application. This SERVICE is provided by HarryDeKat at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page informs visitors regarding our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone using our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information Collection and Local Processing
To provide our Service, the App interfaces with your school’s Magister platform.
- No Central Server Storage: Discipulus does not collect, store, or transmit your credentials, grades, schedule, or messages to any central server operated by HarryDeKat. All authentication tokens and cached school data remain stored locally on your device.
- Direct Authentication: Login authentication occurs directly through the official Magister authentication endpoints.

Whenever you use our Service, in the event of an error in the App, data and information may be collected on your device (via standard system error handling) called Log Data. This Log Data may include details such as your device IP address, device name, operating system version, the app configuration when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use, and crash stack traces.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. This Service does not explicitly use cookies on mobile devices. However, third-party libraries or web-based authentication screens (such as the Magister login portal) may use cookies strictly necessary for login sessions.

However, remember that no method of electronic storage or wireless transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and not tampering with device security controls (such as rooting or jailbreaking).

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13 without appropriate parental or school oversight. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age on any external servers, nor do we operate central servers that store student credentials or personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and have any questions about how data is accessed from Magister on the student’s device, please contact us.
